# 작곡가 Jan Koetsier (1911-2006)
얀 코에티어는 1911년 암스테르담에서 태어나 베를린에서 음악 공부를 했습니다. 여러 자리에서 경력을 쌓은 후 암스테르담 콘체르트헤바우 오케스트라의 수석 지휘자로 활동했습니다. 1950년에는 뮌헨의 바이에른 라디오 오케스트라에서 같은 직책을 맡았습니다.
1966년에는 뮌헨 국립음대 종신 교수로 임명되었습니다. 은퇴 이후 그는 작곡에만 전념했습니다. 금관을 위한 그의 많은 작품들은 전 세계적으로 큰 성공을 거두었습니다.
얀 코에티어는 2006년 4월 뮌헨에서 사망했습니다.
